Thanks to the delivery of the Religious Ed fundraiser cookie dough, we decided to make some Halloween cookies tonight. Ellie wanted to help and she did such a good job. She rolled out the dough, put the shapes on the pan as well as mixing the frosting. She added the food coloring to the frosting and even made a custom orange color! I was cringing watching the food coloring & powdered sugar go all over the counters, but her pride in what she accomplished was so nice to see. She did go a little overboard with the sprinkles -- notice the one cookie that has approximately a 1-inch layer..!! :)
