Santa!

We took the girls to the mall the other night to see Santa (after a promised visit the day after Thanksgiving didn't pan out - i.e. 60 kids already in line!). The last three years Ellie has always been all talk until actually seeing him and then would always get scared & cry and have to be held, etc. So, in the past few months, she has been telling us that she is going to be brave this year because she has to show Emily that Santa is nice and nothing to be scared of. Kyle & I were waiting to see if that would actually happen. And, I am pleased to say it did! She walked right up to him and sat on his lap. She handed him her list & even SMILED for the picture this year. Emily wasn't sure what was going on, but even she didn't cry! Ellie asked when we were walking away if we thought Santa remembered her from when she was scared last year... :)
