Birthday Girl!

Dear Emily,

One year ago today we welcomed you into our family. I am truly shocked by how fast your first year has gone. Yet, in another way, I can't imagine our family without you. I remember thinking during your first few weeks how weird it was to not really know you yet, in comparison to knowing all of your big sister's little quirks. My how that has changed! From your mischievious little smile to how you can tilt your head, bat your eyes and flirt with any random stranger, you certainly brighten my every day. I am so proud to be your Mommy and I can't wait to see what your second year will bring.
