Farm Field Trip

I must be a city girl now when my kid has to go on a field trip to visit a farm! Of all the field trips that I could volunteer for this year, which one do I pick but the farm visit on a cold, rainy morning. Nice.
Yesterday Ellie's preschool class boarded the bus and headed to Gifford Farm. Despite the all around sogginess, the kids had a great time. It is an educational farm specifically set up for field trips, day camps, etc., so they have great displays set up. They got to pet a baby chick, a goat, feed a baby calf AND slide into a pile of hay. Quite a morning!
